Room and Board
Your Employer will deduct specific amounts from your salary to pay for your room and board. You should work this out with your Employer ahead of time, before you sign your contract.

In addition, your Employer may make deductions from your salary to contribute to government programs and tax. Some of these contributions are optional, and you and your Employer must decide together whether or not to make them. Others are required. It just depends on the province in which you are living and working. Some contributions will be made by you from your salary. Some will be made by the Employer. Some require contributions from both you and your Employer.
